A 'Swiss Army knife' for your modular system, Select 2 provides two highly accurate gate-controlled voltage processors in 6 HP. These allow you to create, switch, mute, hold, invert, attenuate, offset, add/mix and subtract voltages, from slow control voltages (CV) up to audio frequencies.

Each processor features two signal inputs, with the left input used by default. A gate on the 'select' input switches to the right signal input instead. The signal inputs are normalised to the precision +5 V reference (left) and 0 V (right).

Following the input section is a hold circuit. A rising edge on the 'hold' input freezes the input voltage at that moment, until the gate input goes low again. While most sample/track-and-hold modules only manage a few seconds, Select 2’s 'low droop' design enables it to store a held voltage accurately for several minutes.

The end of the signal path consists of a gated polariser/attenuverter. Using the knob, the voltage at the output can attenuated and/or inverted: the gain is −1 (inverted) at the minimum setting, 0 at the centre and +1 (unity gain) at the maximum. The polariser can be disabled using the 'unity' gate input. This unique ability enables a variety of interesting gate-controlled signal modulations. Dual-colour LEDs show the output voltage of each processor.

Finally, if the A output socket is left unused, the signal is mixed together with the B output. This enables signal offsetting, CV mixing, pitch transposing etc.

In everyday usage, 'chaos' means 'disorder, 'randomness'. In mathematics however, chaos has a very specific meaning. Chaos theory deals with systems exhibiting highly irregular behaviour, seemingly random yet completely deterministic.

Applying this to the world of modular synths opens up a whole new world of modulation opportunities, introducing a natural irregularity to otherwise purely ‘mechanical’ music, yet with much more control and repeatability than just simple randomness.

In chaos theory, the combination of all possible oscillations at a specific set of parameters is known as the ‘attractor’. Orbit 3 incorporates a modified electronic analogue of the classic double-scroll attractor. Since it contains some (bi)stable regions in addition to chaotic ones, this type is known as a ‘strange’ attractor.

The voltages at each of the module’s outputs can be thought to describe the orbit of a particle through 3D space around two equilibrium points. The positions of these points, as well as the distribution of the orbits and rate of movement can all be adjusted under manual or voltage control.

Not just limited to low frequency modulation use, Orbit 3 can operate in the audio frequency domain as well, yielding a variety of waveforms from its three complementary output pairs. These span a wide range, from near-sine waves to white noise. The addition of temperature compensation and calibrated pitch tracking makes for an unconventional and lively, yet also accurate audio oscillator.

And when you need a break from all that musical chaos, simply connecting any pair of outputs to the XY inputs of an oscilloscope will surely not disappoint!

Logoi is a voltage controlled clock divider, counter, and delay. It subdivides and adds time, creating organic, evolving signatures. Logoi brings movement and life to the trigger signal, from a subtle swing to bizarrely complex and intricate rhythms.

The functions of Logoi are split with division on the left, and addition on the right. The right side operates either in Counter mode, by adding clocks, or Shuffle mode, by adding a time delay. The mode is set by the centre switch.

The module has CV inputs and trigger outputs for each side, and a combined trigger output (centre bottom jack) which gives the output of both operations; divide and add.

The trigger input (bottom left and right jacks) is shared between division and addition. There is also a reset input (centre top) and manual reset switch (push switch up).

There are three LEDs indicating the divided and added output to the left and right, and the combined output in the centre.

Divide
The divider toggles its output every n clocks, where n is the divisor. The divisor is set with a manual (top knob) and CV level control, in a range from 1 to 32.

Count
With the switch in the down position, the additive side functions as clock counter. The counter will output a trigger signal every m clocks, where m is the addend. The range is from 1 to 32 clocks, with 16 in the centre position.
The combined output will divide and count. If i is the incoming clock, n the divisor, and m the addend, then it will output a a trigger signal every i/n + m clocks.
Note that when the addend is larger than the divisor, in other words, n < m, then the divider frequency is higher than the addition and the combined output will never trigger.

Shuffle
With the switch in the centre position, the right side adds a time delay to the input. The amount of delay, or shuffle, ranges from 0ms to around 1000ms.
In shuffle mode, the combined output passes all clocks through until each time the divisor triggers, when it adds a time delay. The result is that every n-th clock is delayed by m, where m is the amount of shuffle and n is the divisor.
As in Count mode, if the divisor frequency is greater than the delay time, the combined output will not trigger. In shuffle mode, this is determined by the combination of input clock frequency and delay time.

Converting microphone, instrument, line and modular signals into CV and clock/gate signals, the PI and PI Expander are suited for synchronizing sequencers or other modules to the rhythm of an audio track or live percussion. The modules can simultaneously be used as a pre-amp for microphones or line-level signals, while generating inverted envelopes useful for side-chaining. The PI module contains all the core functionality and can be used without the Expander to conserve space. The Expander requires the main PI modules and adds three gain stage options, a modular-level audio output jack, a 1/4" (6.35mm) input jack, and envelope attenuation capabilities. The two modules are only sold together, they are not available separately.

Basic Features:

Sensitivity knob, Low/Medium/High gain switch, and clipping LED

Sustain control to prevent misfires, increase gate length, and control the envelope

Envelope decay control

Non-inverted and inverted envelope outputs, useful for side chaining

Four envelope outputs: two attenuated with independent attenuators, and two non-attenuated

Envelope following or generation modes

Gate output for clocking sequencers or any unit with a clock or trigger input

Compatibility with drums, pads, samplers, microphones, piezos, drum machines, etc.

1/8" or 1/4" input jack (6.35mm)

Shuttle Control is a 16-channel MIDI/CV interface which can recieve USB-MIDI at a number of inputs simultaneously. For instance control signals from a tablet/PC/Mac at the "to device socket" or USB-MIDI-Keyboard or controllers via the "to host" sockets.

As the sockets provide for a +5V voltage you can use them for example for a LED lamp. An editor allows you to create and save up to 16 different mappings which can be recalled directly at the module. Those mappings can be for example 8-voice polyphonic setups with different CV scales (1V/oct, 1.2V/oct ot Hz/V). This makes it possible to use VCOs with different CV scales simultaneously to integrate them in a polyphonic setup. Besides this you can assign LFOs, triggers, ControlChanges and random to the outputs.

Additionally the module can be used as a power solution for a small modular system and has an input for an external laptop brick power supply (12-20V). Also it can pass the Eurorack operational voltages via a long ribbon cable with a number of Euro connectors, both male and female sockets.

The note CV and gate signals generated by the MIDI/CV interface can be sent to other modules internally via Doepfer's internal bus. Endorphin.es' own Terminal and Furthrrr can read their signals so you can create an entire Endorphin.es system easily.

It is designed for summing any of the different types of signals you’ll find in a modular system: Audio, CV, Triggers, or Gate.

MIX7 gives ability to sweeten your mix with more headroom using the power of low noise analog summing. A compact 3HP Eurorack utility module, MIX7 is an attractive mixing addition to any rig, especially with the ability to also combine rhythms, note patterns or CV automations from different control sources. The main output of one section can be connected to the input of another MIX7 to create larger mixing groups and complex signal routes inside your modular.

The MIX7 summing mixing circuit is built with low-noise operational amplifiers, giving it an excellent sound quality for mixing audio, the beautiful texture of classic analog mixing with plenty of headroom to handle hot modular signals, and the versatility to sum non-audio signals in your system to open up new creative possibilities.

Each input is labeled with a number of dots, 1-7, yellow for input and green for output. The module matches Tiptop’s system look with clean white faceplate styling.

At the back of the module is a user-configurable jumper allowing users to configure the MIX7 for either unity gain (OUT = IN) or give increased headroom (OUT = 0.4IN) for use with hot audio signals, which makes it a great pairing for Tiptop Audio percussive modules. A peak indicator light on the front panel warns the user of even the slightest audio clipping in the mix, helping to keep all the incoming sound sources at their full original quality.

The Sonevskan uses geramnium transistors for the amplification, fans of distortion and feedback will be very pleased with this module.

Each channel has a signal input with a level control which for sure adds some germanuim transistor distortion. De facto the signal passes not one but two gain stages. The gain fo the second one can be adjusted to your desires by a trimmer on the circuit board. The pre-amplified signal is available at an unbuffered direct output.

Below the gain control there's a control which determines the amount of feedback, or if a feedback CV is used it acts as a modulation amount controller. The feedback can be swithced off immediately with a swithc and another switch mutes the channel.
Because of the direct outputs you can use each channel as an individual distortion/preamp.

The three channels are mixed and then are processed by an EQ featuring potentiometers for low and high frequencies. The processed signal is available at the mix output.

It can create smooth and stepped voltages that are used to control parameters within the LZX video synthesizer Eurorack format. It can create movements with very natural looking characteristics that range from slow randomized gradients to abrupt starts and stops.

In addition to being a collection of circuits working together to produce voltage for movement, Video Motion also functions as a utility module. It can be used as a source for video noise providing a wide range of textures, and the two oscillators can be used independently.

Balanced lines are the proven solution to this problem.

Conventional balanced output solutions often rely on transformers providing galvanic isolation to mitigate the effects of ground loops. Unfortunately, these components are bulky, expensive and colour the sound (often unfavourably, especially in the low end).

Instead, Transmit 2 (or TX2 for short) takes a fully solid-state approach. Offering a stereo pair of XLR balanced outputs, it ensures that the sonic clarity of your carefully planned modular system is not lost in its interface to the outside world.

Engineered to provide massive headroom while retaining extremely low noise and distortion, Transmit 2's circuitry incorporates low-impedance design practices, radio-frequency (RF) filtering and premium balanced drivers to provide transformer-like interconnect performance in a compact and affordable module. And thanks to the electrostatic (ESD) and phantom power discharge protection, it’s rugged enough to survive the rigours of performing on the road.

Adjusting the main output level is a breeze thanks to the dual peak-responding LED meters. A high-end headphone amplifier is included as well, controlled by a separate level knob. It can deliver the voltage and current required to power practically any headphones, regardless of the impedance or driver technology. This 3.5 mm stereo socket can function as an auxiliary stereo line output or even drive small passive speakers, making Transmit 2 an all-round flexible answer to all your output needs.

Compact stereo or dual mono XLR output module.

Studio-grade balanced drivers and headphone amplifier.

Separate main and headphone level controls.

Headphone socket can be utilised as auxiliary stereo output.

Dual dB-scale 5-LED VU meter, calibrated to +4 dBu nominal level.

Joranalogue - Enhance 2

Moving from mono to stereo sound: a logical progression for any synthesist looking to expand their sonic palette. Making use of two audio channels, rather than just one, quite literally adds another dimension to the capabilities of a synthesiser.

Unfortunately, controlling stereo signals can be a challenge within a modular system. This realisation led to the development of Enhance 2: a convenient yet high-fidelity tool for stereo enhancement. It can be used to adjust balance, width and spectral content, while also opening up a world of mid/side processing; all under voltage control and in just 8 HP.

The primary stereo parameters are balance (moving the sound left or right) and width (making it narrower or wider). The balance circuit uses a true constant-power gain law, while the width stage allows for seamless transitions from pure mono to extra-wide stereo.

In addition, tone control is provided by a pair of unique, wide-ranging mid/side voltage controlled tilt filters with selectable corner frequency. These make ‘cleaning up’ a muddy-sounding mix straightforward, but also provide unique binaural effects when modulated.

Mid/side processing encodes the stereo signals into one containing only the mono material (mid), and another containing the differences between both channels (side). Apart from the internal tilt filters, mid/side outputs also enable external signal processing such as compression or reverberation. An integrated mid/side decoder returns the results back to standard stereo. And at all times, a LED bar phase meter ensures that phase correlation can be easily maintained.

Stereo field modulation, mid/side equalisation and beyond; Enhance 2 brings true analogue stereo control to the Eurorack world.

Analogue stereophonic signal enhancer/processor.

True constant-power voltage controlled stereo balance.

Voltage controlled stereo width, from mono to ultra-wide.

Unique, wide-ranging voltage controlled mid/side tilt filters with selectable corner frequency.

Stereo to mid/side and mid/side to stereo conversion.

Impedance-compensated outputs.

7-LED phase correlation meter.

Bullet-proof design: polarised power header and MOSFET protection circuit.
