Detroit Underground

Detroit Underground (est. 1997) is a multidisciplinary arts collective dedicated to exploring and investigating identity, spatial relations, power structures and systems of communication within contemporary culture. Functioning primarily as a record label dedicated to electronic based experimental music, Detroit Underground also provides opportunities for public discussion, critical discourse and new media technologies, via live performance, large-scale multimedia installations, digital photography and a web-based lecture series.
